The 14th Annual Client Conference Featured Renowned Analysts and P&C Insurance Industry Leaders with Sessions on Digital, Data, and Cloud Innovation

HARTFORD, CT – June 16, 2020 — Insurity, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based core system solutions and data analytics for the world’s largest insurers, brokers, and MGAs, recently held Connected 2020, its 14th annual client conference and the first in a virtual format, drawing a record-setting 1,700 attendees, and over 5,000 session views in total. Connected 2020 delivered 19 newscast-inspired sessions over three weeks, led by innovative insurers, top P&C industry analysts, and Insurity domain experts. Attendees actively engaged with presenters through live chat and Q&A, connected with event sponsors in the virtual exhibit hall, learned more about Insurity solutions in the Experience Zone, and networked in the virtual lounge.  Insurity clients were also introduced to Engage, the company’s new online client community, which received hundreds of new memberships during the event.

“Each year at Connected, it’s wonderful to collaborate and engage with clients, partners, analysts, and industry thought leaders to discuss the different ways that technology will impact the future of the P&C industry and share the latest trends, strategies, and best practices to stay competitive,” said Michele Shepard, chief revenue officer at Insurity. “When our planned, in-person conference became no longer feasible, we quickly pivoted to create a highly-engaging, interactive, and immersive virtual experience for our clients that would set the bar for all future industry events. We’re extremely pleased with the response we received, and appreciative of the opportunity to connect with more clients than ever before.”

Insurity chief executive officer Chris Lafond kicked off the Connected 2020 keynote by reinforcing the core values of Insurity, and discussed the company’s 2020 roadmap spanning experience, platform integration, and analytics-fueled business intelligence to help insurers develop more dynamic products and improve speed-to-market.

Insurity’s commitment to these areas was showcased through several demonstrations that utilize Insurity’s digital platform, along with its data and analytics capabilities. Insurity product leaders presented a cloud-based mobile referral application to help underwriters easily and quickly respond to agents on-the-go, based on Insurity’s geospatial analytics, its deep API ecosystem, and available third-party tools. They also demonstrated how clients utilizing the SpatialKey platform can integrate third-party COVID-19 data, unemployment data from the bureau of labor statistics, and data from Insurity’s proprietary Valen Data Consortium to help insurers understand the pandemic’s impact on their portfolio in real-time and with unprecedented granularity.

Following the keynote, attendees experienced in-depth collaborative solo and panel sessions covering cloud migration and security, emerging technologies, data analytics, and the customer experience, featuring insights and best practices from leading P&C industry analyst and consulting firms, as well as innovative insurance carriers including: Nationwide, Everest, Forrester, Strategy Meets Action, Novarica, Gartner, McKinsey, Celent, and Aite Group.

In the final week of the conference, Insurity hosted a series of client-focused “Products: Present and Future” sessions to help insurers utilize the full breadth and depth of Insurity’s suite of cloud-based core system and data analytics solutions.

“We’d like to thank our clients, our speakers, and our sponsors— ECHO Health, Invoice Cloud, RCG Global Services, Process Stream, and FPT Software—for their incredible support as we collectively made the transition from an in-person to virtual event in less than two months’ time,” Shepard continued.  “We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2021.”

Connected 2021 will take place May 3-5, 2021, at a location to be announced at a later date. For more information on Insurity’s suite of cloud-based core system and data analytics solutions, visit
